A very int(ER)esting day

If you didn't already catch it in the title then I'll say it again: ER. Yep, it was fun! The good part is that I'll live, the bad part is that I will always be just a head for the rest of my life...

:-P

Just kidding. What really happened was that when I went to the Barton Springs dog pool with my brother and my mom's cousin I cut the ankle of my foot open on a rock. I mean seriously! If the ankle of my foot is going to be cut open can't it be something more like: When I was fighting for my life in a New Jersey alley; me against five gang members, I threw a kick and the leader stabbed me in the foot. But I killed them all anyways. That is what should of happened. I just stubbed my foot on a sharp rock while flowing on a fast current. The best part about it was that right when I was two seconds away from hitting the rock my brother shouts, "Oh yeah, watch out for that sharp rock sticking up that will cut you if you hit it!" When I first got the cut I thought it was just a big blister. It didn't hurt at all, but when I got out of the water to see how bad it was, I saw a lot of blood and a flap of skin barely attached to my ankle. It was kind of a panic, since I would have to cross the water to get to the car but I didn't want to infect my cut. So I waited for Elysia and my brother to pull the car around to around where I was. In the mean time I was stuck with two 12 year olds to watch me.
The cut started to numb a little, until the the two kids I was sitting next to showed me their cut and bleeding feet that they also got from the same rock. As they explained their pain and blood loss I felt a lot worse. When Elysia drove the car around, she came and saved me from the two 12 year olds, wrapped a T-Shirt around my foot and we walked up a hill and to the car. Eventually I was in the Emergency Room (I don't think it was an emergency). It was not that bad, until I was waiting in the room for two hours straight waiting for a doctor to come and tell me that they forgot to get the ointments again (Doh!). Eventually we got out of the place and I got told the bad news: I can't swim or put any kind of weight on that foot for a week. I'm O.K with the 'not swimming' part of it, but I can't jump on the trampoline, I can't play soccer, and I can't even kick my computer when it freezes. This is going to be a long week.
Today, Saturday, I watched the A-Team movie. It was better then I thought it would be, but (SPOILER ALERT) it wasn't as good as the T.V episodes.
