my cat has superpowers beyond belief of mankind

Just kidding. I love my cat, but I know that the most extraordinary thing that she can do is catch a squirrel and bring back it's skull just for me (good times). Right now I am just doing some homework, but I decided to speak to you fellow followers. The disease project for science is really taking up most of my life, but it is pretty interesting what you learn on these research projects. My disease (I don't know if I have already told you this) is Polio, or Poliomyelitis and this disease has tons and tons of history. The two types of vaccines, IPV (inactivated polio vaccine)and OPV (oral polio vaccine) were made around the same time period (late '50s and early '60s). The funny thing is that the two people who made the vaccines, Jonas Salk (IPV) and Albert Sabin (OPV) were rivals. Albert Sabin hated Jonas' guts and vise versa. When Jonas Salk tried to test his vaccine on children, Albert Sabin would be the first to protest. Unfortunately for Sabin, OPV has caused polio to people taking the vaccine. Though very rare did this happen, IPV is now the proffered polio vaccine. Wow, That's not even 1/100th of the information that I need to know for this disease. I can go on and on and on about it, but I'm sure you would love for me to SHUT UP!!! Anyways, see ya' l8r!

P.S- Wasn't the super bowl AWESOME!? GO SAINTS! (Did you know that the saints came to the game on motorcycles? It was like the Hell's Angels!)
